Commercial Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade for Education Sector
Our commercial team was engaged by a respected university in Melbourne to complete full replacement of the main switchboard in a key building on campus. The upgrade is part of the university’s commitment to future proof their electrical infrastructure and prepare for further electrification projects.
Understanding the importance of minimising disruption to students, staff and daily operations, our certified team of commercial electricians executed the works during a tightly scheduled weekend shutdown period, taking advantage of the adjoining public holiday to ensure a seamless transition.
To uphold essential services, we implemented temporary backup supplies prior to works commencing, maintaining continuous operation of fire safety systems, building monitoring, and cold storage for hospitality tenants throughout the upgrade.
This project formed part of the University’s broader asset replacement strategy, designed to modernise end-of-life infrastructure while creating a future-ready foundation for further electrification.
